What is Radical Redesign?
Radical Pathway Redesign (RPR) is a major strategic reconfiguration of the Trust’s Direct Care Services (DCS). Radical Pathway Redesign applies to all of the Trust’s DCS. For clarity, this includes all of the Trust’s health and social care services other than the Pharmacy Department and some service elements that are included in the Governance Department (physical health nurse, dietetics). Radical Pathway Redesign will be redesigning the services the Trust offers ensuring they are financially strong and viable whilst keeping and where possible improving the quality of care and service user experience.
Why are we doing this?
Our aim is to be the best mental health service provider nationally, both in terms of quality and service for money. The Trusts mission is to provide high quality, accessible services that deliver personalised care supported by strong partnerships with stakeholders and other agencies. One of the ways we are delivering this through Radical Pathway Redesign.
